Hotel Willa holds great respect for the Pueblo land that we reside on and the water that we are provided with. We aim to create a healthy environment for our team, guests and all Taoseños. We believe no effort is too small, leading us to establish our own initiatives and partner with other local mother nature-minded experts who know what’s best.

Our Commitment

Our commitment is straightforward and our efforts humble—we make decisions in light of what will make the world go round, designing with future health in mind and offsetting any negative impact when possible. Hotel Willa is outfitted with an edible garden incorporated seasonally into our culinary offerings, solar power and electric vehicle charging stations, complimentary for guest use. In an effort to leave no waste and re-use when possible, several of our stucco walls are infilled with discarded plastic bottles in lieu of less sustainable infill materials.

In each restroom, you’ll find organic, sustainably produced body care from Mooncloth in our custom, Casetta scent, and earth friendly toilet paper from PlantPaper.

During your stay, we make it easy for you to join in our commitment—enjoy ethically sourced tea from local tea house, Teography, water in glass bottles from Mountain Valley and water stations for your convenience, among more behind the scenes initiatives like biodegradable single use packaging. For a daily reminder to consider the earth—find a custom Ocean Bottle in our lobby—for every Ocean Bottle x Casetta drinking vessel purchased, 22.5 pounds or the equivalent of 1000 bottles of ocean-bound plastic is recovered from the ocean.
